Good and bad corporate/promotional videos

A corporate video=A corporate video is used to promote a company and what it does.

Promotional video= A promotional video is used to promote a certain product or service e.g a charity.

The difference between a corporate and a promotional video is that a corporate video is telling the audience something they already know but informing them more of what the company is about. A promotional video is where its promotes a certain product or they help promote events and awareness of a cause e.g. a charity about cancer.


A good corporate video 

What good about this video is that it tells the audience what its about and it includes interviews and a voice over to get what there promoting more across. In the video the interviews are coming from different people who work in different company's, this is good because it shows how many different company's are involved and what there doing. Also this video doesn't include a lot of information, which makes it easier to understand what the video is about and also so that it doesn't bore the audience. Also in the video the some of the shots match what the voice-over is saying and I think it gives the video more effect.

A bad corporate video

At the start of the video its quite slow and you don't really understand whats happening but, the music playing does give it a dramatic feeling.Even though this video includes quite a lot of interactions, I think it looses the point of what its actually supposed to be promoting, as it talks about different things such as on one slide its on about exhibitions expos and fairs(1:06) then the next slide its on about conducting a successful event (1:13). I think this video has to much going on which can make its audience confused and loose interest.
